Education

From January 3rd to February 1st, we carried out education of three primary school (Horvati in Zagreb, dr. Jure Turića in Gospić and Ivana Rabljanina in Rab) teachers and three secondary schools (9th gymnasium in Zagreb, vocational school in Gospić and high school Markantuna de Dominisa in Rab) professors. Education was based around implementation and application of individualised educational plans in work with students with disabilities, methods of work with ADHD students, as well as Croatian educational system and new forms of support to educational inclusion of students with disabilites.

Knowledge center PROFECTUS is carrying out educations under the “Snail in school“ project, by parent's association “Path to life“ – PUZ, financed by EU fonds.

Director of PROFECTUS is writting a column every other Tuesday in school papers. In order to bring the actual subjects in the field of inclusive practice closer to reader, we are actively involved in the work of “Skolske novine“ and bring topics of inclusion, twice a month.

A basic Montesorri education took place from 7th to 12th of October ,in Zagreb. The education was organised by Knowledge Center PROFECTUS.

The training is carried out through interactive work of the participants. During the education, the participants will be presented with practical examples and will be informed about the Agency of Mobility programs and EU programs. The participants will learn about mobility for individual education purposes, strategic partnerships within the Erasmus+ program and will be acquainted with filling out and analyzing project documentation.

Education is developed for special institutions seeking to become Resource centers of support to regular inclusive education institutions.

We carried out an Education on project cycle management and EU project development for elementary school Odra in Zagreb, from January 13th to 15th, 2014.

The training of preschool educators is carried out through workshops which involve active participation. During the education, the participants are presented with practice examples with detailed descriptions of methods of work with children with ADHD, intellectual disabilities, autism, motor disabilities etc.

Education on Project Cycle Management (PCM) was held by knowledge Centre PROFECTUS, in Ploče, Croatia.

Director of Knowledge Center PROFECTUS is one of the authors of Inclusive Education Strategy in Montenegro (2014 – 2018), adopted by the Ministry of Education of Montenegro.

Knowledge Center PROFECTUS has subcontracted educations in the project "Snail in school". We lead education of teaching assistants, both elementary school and high school teachers and other professional associates related to primary and secondary schools.

Knowledge Center PROFECTUS, organised and carried out an education of teaching and preschool assistants on the work with children with disabilities. The education took place on January 23rd, 2014 in Zagreb.

Knowledge Center PROFECTUS signed a contract with a Romanian company, Pluriconsult Ltd., for result evaluation of a Child Care System Reform 2005-2012. The project is funded by UNICEF CEE/CIS Regional office.

Knowledge Centre PROFECTUS signed a collaboration contract with the UNICEF Office in Montenegro regarding in-depth analysis of obstacles in early detection, early intervention and inclusion of children with disabilities. The contract was signed in Podgorica, Pljevlja and Bijelo Polje.

Starting February 4th 2014, Knowledge Center PROFECTUS director, prof. reh. Darko Kobetić, is leading a developmental counseling, aimed at parents with children up to 8 years of age. The counseling will take place at kindergarten “Radost“ in Jastrebarsko.
